Rules of the Site.

Registering
When making an account, make it as your characters name. Please try to use capitalization and spacing if you have a last name. When you register, please make sure you read all of the rules so that we can avoid running into problems with your app. This site is not for anyone under the age of 13. If you are younger than 13, we will ask if you have parent permission to be on here, because this site allows swearing, sexual relationships (with warnings on the topics) and violence.

Code of Approval
We don't want people joining and getting away with not reading the rules. To stop that, we are now having a code of approval for new members who join the site. In order to be approved, they must read through the rules of the site and look for the code of approval, in which there is a message there. It is only one short sentence, and all you have to do is simply copy and paste it to the area in your application. We will be changing this message weekly, so that no one can just look at other applications for it.

Ban List
Make sure to check the ban list so that you do not add anything to your character that is not allowed. If anything you put is on that list, we will politely confront you about what you have. If any admins or mods confront you in any way that is insulting, harassing, and/or offending in any way, please tell the ROOT Admin of this issue.

Custom Characters
Custom characters on the site MUST follow these rules when making their character. You must join the site as a shinobi of a village, and work your way up. You can join as a genin, chuunin, special jounin, or jounin. Genin do not require a roleplay sample. Chunin require 2 paragraph samples. Special Jounin require 3 paragraph samples. Jounin require 4 paragraphs, including a fight scene. ANYONE WISHING TO JOIN AS A KAGE MUST HAVE 6 PARAGRAPHS INCLUDING A FIGHT SCENE, POWER CONTROL, AND MATURITY.

Relating to Canons
Relating to canons is prohibited. If you want to be a canon's sibling so bad, be an ACTUAL sibling of theirs, or if they don't have one, be them.

Canon Characters
Canon characters are allowed. When being a canon character, please try to stay in character personality-wise. It is okay to be involved in romantic events with other characters (canon or custom) as long as it does not cause you to go out of character for the most part. If you wish to play a character who has been declared deceased in the show, you may do so, with a legitimate reason for how they survived. The only exception is Itachi, who lost his eyes in this area of the storyline.

Face-Claiming
This is completely optional, but for any custom characters who want to avoid finding other characters using the same picture as them, you may direct yourself to the creation area to post in the "Face-Claiming" topic within the "Character Sheets" forum.

Activity
Please try staying active, we don't need to have 200 accounts here and only 5 are active. If you do not stay active, your accounts are suspended. If you're only active with one character and hardly play as the other, please delete your other character. If you're going to be away from the computer for a long period of time for any reason--please make a topic in the "Hello-Goodbye" section. After several months of inactive users, deletion of accounts may be necessary.
If you are inactive for two weeks, all positions you have are taken away and open for someone else.

Multiple Characters
When it comes to making characters, we are pretty lenient. We will allow you to be two canon characters, and as many custom characters as you like. Our only rule on this is that before creating another character, your previous account before it must have at least 50 posts.

Storylines
There is a story line to this. We will have a summary of the story line in a topic under Storyline. Follow it, or things will get confusing for us and yourself.

Chakra/Jutsu
You will have a certain amount of chakra, so please, do not overdue jutsu and bloodline abilities. Jinchuriki and Demons seem to have an advantage, but take a bigger fall. They can use more jutsu and chakra, but it makes them weaker in the end, and can kill them.

Character Approval
Only Administrators and Moderators will be approving characters. Please remember to keep in mind you also are unable to roleplay until an Administrator or Moderator approves it. In order to have your character sheet approved, it MUST have a roleplay sample so we can see where you are in RP. We don't want inexperienced generals or godmodders. So PLEASE include your RP sample.


Roleplaying
When Roleplaying, please, no speed. It must be Para and it should at least be two sentences long unless you're put in a situation where you can't think of anything else to say. Please try to use correct spelling/grammar. Please no RUN ON SENTENCES! If you have a long sentence, use commas and periods. Use quotation marks when talking.

Squads and Teams
Squads can be created as long as they include one Jounin Sensei, and three genin, chunin, or jounin. No mixes. When you do this, they should be with two boys and a girl, but it doesn't matter I guess. Do whatever. Squads can start once we get more players who have the same ranks as others.

Jinchuriki
No 1000 tails. Again, first come, first serve. If there is already a demon that has a specific animal, that animal is taken. So if Naruto has the 9 tailed fox obviously, you cannot have a fox demon. And please give details.
Please include this into your character sheet and we will decide depending on how well you rp in the sample if you are capable of not abusing its power.

Clans
Don't make a clan for every character you make. Clans are just families with bloodlines that have expanded. Not every character has one, so please, stay original. If you play as Naruto, you for sure, cannot have a clan. His parents are dead. They do not have some secret Uzumaki clan. We do not allow cross clans. That means no Uchiha-Senju, Nara-Hyuga, etc. You may only be of ONE clan.

Clan Kekkei Genkai's
You may have your power be whatever you may please, but you ABSOLUTELY MAY NOT have the power to destroy the world. That is so OP'd over the limit. That would be an instant kill x 100,000,000,000. You absolutely must not be able to destroy anything at ease. That would be very unfair to the users of this site. [color=white]Please do not control others also.

Godmodding and Metagaming
Please no godmodding. We don't need you dodging every attack, controlling characters, instant-killing, or using more power than you actually have. To do so is unfair and ridiculous.
We also are not allowing metagaming, which is when you know something your character should not know about, but act as though they know it anyways.
Example: Naruto was taken to the Akatsuki hide-out, but Sakura does not know this. The player of Sakura knows this though, and pretends that Sakura should know this, and where the hideout is and goes to save him. We don't need know-it-all's. It takes away from the fun.

Relationships
Relationships are allowed and recommended during the RP experience. You may fall in love with whoever you please, and it does not matter who they are, regardless of gender, alliance, or village. If you fall in love with the enemy, that spices up the story. We only ask that you keep ages appropriate and remember the canon rule; stay in character.
If you plan on making "lemon" topics, in other words, sexual topics, that is as well allowed. Please remember to put "PRIVATE" in the title. Yaoi and Yuri are both allowed.

Death
If you are killed, you are dead. End of story. There are no ways to cheat death. Once you die, you cannot return. The only time you can revive yourself, is when someone instant-kills you, or joins a private topic of yours and kills you within it.

Killing
Killing a member of this site without the consent of that person is not permitted at any time. No one deserves to get their player killed without their knowledge. Instant killing is unacceptable. Death matches ARE allowed, but there must be consent between both characters, and the topic title must include "Death Match" in it. THIS DOES NOT APPLY FOR A RANK CRIMINALS AND UP. Missing ninja that are A rank or higher may be killed if spotted by a shinobi or other character at any time, because they are so difficult to kill.

OUT OF CHARACTER

Advertising
Advertising is guest friendly! We don't recommend doing lots of guest advertising, but it is allowed. If you decide to advertise on our site, you give us full permission to advertise back onto your own site. If there is a problem with us advertising on your site, your advertisement on our site will be deleted.

Administration and Moderation
If you are given special privileges by one of the administrators, you are not to abuse the power. Do not rank yourself highly if you do not deserve it and do not take advantage of chatbox moderation power. You are only to kick people from the chat if they disrupt the chat in any way by disrupting the rules of the site. At first, I'll give you a warning and strip you of your power for 48 hours. If it happens again, you're power is stripped permanently. Code of Approval: Sasuke's Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan is the sexiest thing I have ever laid my eyes on.

Language
Profanity is not prohibited, but we do wish for you to keep it to a minimum. We would prefer that you only swear when in character, but it is not required. There will absolutely be no swearing to offend or hurt another member of the site while not in RP. If we find out that this is being done for so, severe consequences will take place.

CHAT BOX RULES
ADVERTISING ON THE CHATBOX IS PROHIBITED. That is what the Advertisement forum is for under "OTHER".
Please be respectful on the chatbox and keep swearing to a minimum if possible. Respect any mods within the chatbox, and have a good time!
